Connect Pageform to ChatGPT

On this page

Updated October 16, 2026

Pageform for ChatGPT lets you use a Pageform account from a ChatGPT conversation. You can store files, build a data room, review what is missing, share a room, and look up rooms and documents you already have.

The connection uses your Pageform login. ChatGPT can only see workspaces you belong to, and it can only change a workspace when your role in Pageform already allows that change.

The Apps connection steps below apply once Pageform is listed and available in your ChatGPT account.

Prerequisites

  • A Pageform account.

  • A workspace you can open. If you do not have one yet, ChatGPT can create one after you connect.

  • Owner or editor access on that workspace for uploads, room builds, edits, share links, and deletes. A viewer can ask about rooms they can already open, and cannot change them.

  • The workspace plan must include the action. Room builds and some analytics depend on the plan. A workspace that is past due cannot be changed until billing is resolved in Pageform.

  • Files you want in a room. A typed room is built from documents already stored in the workspace. Video files are not accepted.

Billing, custom domains, signatures, and watermarking stay in the Pageform app.

How to connect Pageform to ChatGPT

After Pageform is listed in ChatGPT:

  1. In ChatGPT, open Apps.

  2. Search for Pageform.

  3. Select Connect.

  4. Sign in to Pageform if you are not already signed in. Use the account that owns or edits the workspace.

  5. On the Pageform screen, review what the connection can do, then choose Approve.

Pageform shows these permissions before you approve:

  • View and update your workspaces

  • Create and edit data rooms

  • Upload and organize documents

  • Create share links and see engagement

If you have more than one workspace, name the one you want in the chat. ChatGPT will not pick a second workspace on its own.

What you can do

Store files

Attach documents in the chat and ask ChatGPT to store them in a workspace. A folder keeps each file’s path, such as Legal/SPA.pdf.

Limits:

  • Up to 100 files at a time

  • Each file must fit the workspace plan, and cannot be larger than 100 MB

  • Video is not accepted

  • Very small files can be sent directly in the chat, up to 10 files and 8 MB each

If ChatGPT cannot send the file bytes, it gives you a Pageform link. Open that link, upload the files there, then return to the chat and ask it to continue with the new files. You do not need to describe the files again.

Build a room

Ask for a room from files that are already stored. Supported room types:

  • Sales

  • Product

  • Real Estate

  • Startup Fundraising

  • LP Fundraising

  • LP Portal / Update

  • SPV

  • M&A

You can also create an empty room with a name and no documents, or a room whose sections follow a folder you already stored. Files that are not one of the types above can still become a room; you name the sections, or Pageform drafts them from the files.

When a build finishes, the chat shows a review: score, summary, gaps, and suggested changes, plus a link to the room. Nothing is placed or moved in the room until you accept that suggestion.

Review and edit a room

You can ask what is in a room, what is missing, and how it scores. You can rename a room, add or rename sections, and place, move, or remove documents, folders, images, and videos that are already in the workspace.

Placement waits for your yes. A permanent delete also waits for a yes in the chat. Delete removes a room, a library document, or a library folder. It does not remove a file from a room only; that is an unlink, and the file stays in the library.

Share a room

You can list share links, create one for a room, a folder, or a document, and revoke a link. Confirm the label and who should have access before the link is created. The chat returns the link URL.

Look up your workspace

You can list workspaces, rooms, folders, and documents; search the library; see which library files are not in a room yet; and read analytics for a workspace, a room, or a share link. Some analytics fields are omitted when the plan does not include them.

Example prompts

Use your own room and file names. These match what the connection can do.

  1. Store these files in my Northwind workspace and build a startup fundraising room.

  2. What is missing from the Acme diligence room? Show the score and the gaps. Do not change the room yet.

  3. Create a share link for the Acme room. Label it “Investor draft” and show me the URL.

  4. Which library documents are not in the Acme room yet?

  5. Add a section called Financials to the Acme room and place SPA.pdf there.

Permissions and data access

The connection acts as you.

AccessWhat it can do
ReadWorkspaces you belong to, their plan, rooms, folders, documents, share links, and analytics those rooms already collect
WriteCreate a workspace, store documents, build and edit rooms, create and revoke share links, upload a new version of a file
DeletePermanently delete a room, library document, or library folder after you confirm in the chat

ChatGPT does not receive a way to upload by sending file bytes straight to Pageform’s upload address. It stores files you attach in the chat, or it sends you to the Pageform upload page.

The connection cannot open workspaces you do not belong to. It cannot raise your role, change the plan, or turn on a feature the plan does not include.

Managing the connection

To disconnect, remove Pageform from ChatGPT’s Apps settings. To connect again, repeat the steps above and approve the Pageform screen.

Pageform does not show a separate “connected apps” page. Disconnecting in ChatGPT is what stops new requests. Files, rooms, and links already created stay in Pageform until you delete them there or in a later chat.

Troubleshooting

The Pageform approval screen does not open.

Finish signing in to Pageform in the same browser, then start Connect again. An expired approval request has to be started over.

ChatGPT says the workspace has no rooms or files.

Confirm you approved the account that belongs to that workspace. If you belong to more than one workspace, say which name to use.

A file did not store.

Check the size and type. Video is refused. Files over 100 MB, or over the workspace plan, are refused. If ChatGPT cannot send the file, use the Pageform upload link it gives you, then ask it to list the new documents.

The room was not built.

A typed room needs at least one stored document. If the reply says the plan does not include the action, change the plan in Pageform or use a workspace that includes it.

A change was refused.

Viewers cannot edit. Owners and editors can. A past-due workspace cannot be changed until billing is resolved in the Pageform app.

I was asked to confirm a delete.

That confirmation is required. Nothing is deleted until you say yes in the chat.

Privacy and support

Pageform is not endorsed by OpenAI. ChatGPT’s own terms also apply to the chat.
